mathrsfs, bbm and nicefrac in Scissor LaTeX
Yes. \mathscr (mathrsfs) gives script capitals, \mathbbm (bbm) and \mathds (dsfont) give double-struck letters such as the indicator 𝟙, and \nicefrac (nicefrac) and \sfrac (xfrac) give slanted fractions, in formulas and in text.
What the packages do
mathrsfs adds \mathscr for round script capitals, bbm and dsfont add \mathbbm and \mathds for double-struck letters and digits, and nicefrac and xfrac add \nicefrac and \sfrac for small slanted fractions such as ½.
What works here
| Command | In Scissor LaTeX | Notes |
|---|---|---|
\mathscr{A} (mathrsfs) | Works | |
\mathbbm{1} (bbm), \mathds{1} (dsfont), \mathbbold{1} (bbold) | Works | |
\nicefrac{a}{b} (nicefrac), \sfrac{a}{b} (xfrac) | Works |
Examples
\mathscr, \mathcal, \mathbbm, \mathds
\mathscr{L}\{f\}(s) = \int_0^\infty f(t)\, e^{-st} \,\mathrm{d}t,
\qquad
\mathscr{F} \ne \mathcal{F},
\qquad
\mathbbm{1}_A(x) = \mathds{1}\{x \in A\}\nicefrac, \sfrac
Half of the 44 samples is \nicefrac{1}{2} of them, and a step of \sfrac{3}{4} gives
\[ x_{k+1} = x_k + \nicefrac{1}{2}\,(y_k - x_k). \]Compatibility
- From a TeX installation to here: these commands typeset as expected.
- From here to a TeX installation: documents compile there unchanged.
